Bowling For Turkeys is our flagship event. Started in November 2015 by Loren Braxton, a founding member of Let’s Go Detroit, this family event quickly grew to renting out Plum Hollow Lanes, having raffle prizes (see our raffle donor list), a DJ, a comedic host, and plenty of bowling! We hosted our 5th Annual Bowling For Turkeys in November 2019 and while COVID-19 restrictions prevent the 6th Annual in November 2020, we look forward to hosting this event again in 2021. Proceeds help provide families with Thanksgiving meals, children with winter boots, and support our other programs.
